Starting Small And Growing a Business on Ambergris Caye

I started this business in the fall of 2003.  I've always liked making things and thought I'd see if I could take this hobby I enjoyed and make it a business.  More than twenty years later, Sew What! had grown into a business that served San Pedro and the rest of Belize with quality fabrics and quality fabrication of a wide variety of items.  Furniture cushions, boat canvas and cushions, outdoor shade items, and window treatments.  It was time for a change and the business was divided  so that Window Treatments and Specialty Fabrics are now separate entities and Sew What! is now owned by two of my long term employees who continue to make quality items for homes and boats.   My team continues to make quality custom window treatments and we operate out of our workshop north of San Pedro, where we also sell Specialty Fabrics.
